Help Us Stuff the Bus!
in partnership with Craven County Partners in Education
"Stuff the Bus" is a community-wide fundraiser to provide school supplies to Craven County students who are in need of support to start the school year off strong. Craven-Pamlico Regional Library is proud to be teaming up with Craven County Partners in Education to provide our library space as advanced drop-off points!
You can bring your school supply donations into the following libraries, any time before Friday, August 14!
- Cove City-Craven County Library (102 North Main St, Cove City)
- Havelock-Craven County Library (301 Cunningham Blvd, Havelock)
- New Bern-Craven County Library (400 Johnson St, New Bern)
- Vanceboro-Craven County Library (7931 Main St, Vanceboro)
Or come to the Stuff the Bus event scheduled for Saturday, August 15, from 10 am - 2 pm at Staples in New Bern!
What school supplies are needed?
We strongly suggest gift cards of any denomination from Target, Amazon or Staples to give or principals flexibility to meet the need of their individual students!
We are also collecting the following school supplies:
- AAA/AA batteries
- 3-ring binders (1.5", 2" or 3")
- Book bags (no wheels)
- Cardstock paper
- Clipboards
- Clorox wipes
- Colored copy paper
- Composition notebooks (non-spiral)
- Construction paper
- 24 count crayons
- Earbuds
- Elmer's glue or glue sticks
- Erasers (pink)
- Pocket folders
- Graph paper
- Hand sanitizer
- Highlighters
- Lined index cards (3x5 or 4x6)
- 8 count markers
- Pencils (#2 wooden or mechanical)
- Notebook paper (wide ruled)
- Pencil bags or box
- Pens (blue, black or red)
- Pocket pencil sharpeners
- Paper
- Rulers
- Scissors (child or adult-sized)
- Sharpies
- Stapler and staples
- Sticky notes
- Subject dividers for binders
- Tape
- Tissues/Kleenex
- Zip-lock baggies (any size)
