Rather Be Reading Book Club

Our monthly fiction reading book club will meet to discuss Kim Michele Richardson’s The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek. This historical fiction novel set in the 1930s Appalachia features Cussy Mary Carter as the traveling librarian of the Kentucky Pack Horse Library Project. She meets mountain folks suspicious of books, government, and her heritage of being a blue-skinned Book descendant. Registration for the book club is required, so we can reserve you a reading copy.
